FULL REGULATIONS

To ensure your comfort, safety and wellbeing, as well as the preservation of Pousada Araxá’s facilities, we kindly ask you to observe our internal regulations and guest policies:

GENERAL RULES

  • Access to guest rooms and the pool is restricted to registered guests only. Visitors are welcome in public areas such as the restaurant and bar.
  • No new occupants may be added to a booking after check-in.
  • In accordance with Brazilian Tourism Law (Law No. 11.771/2008 and Decree No. 7.381/10), completion of the FNRH (National Guest Registration Form) and presentation of valid photo ID are mandatory at check-in. For children and adolescents, valid ID must be presented along with proof of parental or legal guardian authority.
  • Check-in: from 2 p.m. | Check-out: until 12 p.m. Late departures, unless authorised by reception, will incur a half-day charge for the first 30 minutes and a full daily rate after that. This fee does not guarantee overnight stay. Please check availability in advance if you wish to extend your stay.
  • The credit card used for payment must belong to the registered guest.
  • Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. near reception.
  • Please leave your room key at reception when going out so housekeeping can service the room before 1 p.m.
  • Please respect other guests’ rest. Silence is essential at all times, including in rooms and corridors. No sound equipment is permitted on the premises.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside rooms (Law No. 9.294/96). Breach of this rule will incur a cleaning and deodorising fee equivalent to half the daily rate.
  • Pets of any kind are not allowed.
  • Pousada Araxá cannot accept responsibility for valuables left in rooms. Please use the in-room safe, available free of charge.
  • For security reasons, common areas are monitored by CCTV. By staying with us, you accept that your image may be captured. Recordings are used internally only and released to authorities upon official request.
  • Early departure after check-in is subject to the same cancellation policy as your reservation, and applies only to unused nights. Refunds depend on the rate selected at the time of booking.
  • Lost keys must be reported immediately. Guests are responsible for the key and any consequences of unreported loss.
  • Rooms are equipped with energy-saving devices linked to the key card. Please remove the key when leaving the room to avoid unnecessary energy use. Our air conditioning system quickly reaches the desired temperature without needing to remain on in your absence.
  • For proper operation of the air conditioning, please keep doors and windows closed.
  • Any damage, stains or loss of items (e.g. bed linen, towels, furniture, appliances) will be charged according to the replacement value. A room check will be carried out at check-out.
  • Electrical voltage is 220V. Please check your devices before use.
  • Guests using irons or other electrical appliances must take proper precautions.
  • Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult in common areas.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain respectful behaviour suitable for a family-friendly environment.
  • Respect service hours and house rules.
  • Report any irregularities to management.
  • Compensate for any damage caused to the property.
  • Comply fully with this regulation.

The pousada reserves the right to request immediate check-out in case of violation of these rules or any illegal, disruptive, or offensive behaviour.

As per the Brazilian Child and Adolescent Statute (Articles 82 and 250), minors under 18 cannot be accommodated unless accompanied by parents or a legal guardian with valid documentation, or by another adult with notarised written authorisation.

Forgotten items will be stored for up to 30 days, after which the pousada may dispose of them as it deems appropriate.

LINEN & TOWELS

Bed linen and towels are changed every 2 days.

Towels from rooms may not be used at the pool; pool towels are provided on site.

USE OF THE POOL

  • The pool is for the exclusive use of Pousada Araxá guests.
  • Depth: 1.50m — please supervise children and non-swimmers at all times.
  • Diving, boards, inflatables or ball games are not permitted.
  • Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., subject to maintenance needs.

By confirming a booking and completing payment, the guest accepts and agrees to these internal policies.

Any cases not covered by this regulation will be resolved at the discretion of management.
